Family Camp - Part 2

Flag football was lots of fun for the guys.  Here, they are attempting
to get Timothy.

David (in yellow) has such long legs.

Surrounded but he looks like he'll escape.

Timothy is also the kickoff guy for our Six-Man football team.

Besides showing her movie, Bessie, 4 times, Stacie had the job of filming
interviews for the Family Camp documentary.

The volleyball tournament was another favorite, and David's team advance into
the top 8, I think.  But unfortunately my pictures turned out blurry.

Spiritually, we were encouraged by meeting with friends new and old, and by hearing such great speakers.
I'm really glad we got to attend.

Family Camp - Part 1

We spent a week in Big Sandy, Texas, at Family Camp.  It was a great week.
Lew Sterret gave interesting lessons on life while training horses.

Below, Timothy enjoys a game of Carpetball - there is cutthroat competition in this game.

Brian and Katie display their Native American roots.                      And their good aim.

Even Katie scrambles right up.

Ancient Romans

Connor and Abbie spent the day with us.  The weather was perfect as we
painted our chariot.

Which way to the Circus Maximus???

Katie graciously agrees to be the horse.  Actually, when we weren't
posing for pictures, Timothy, Katie and Grammy galloped on two legs
so that we could go pretty fast. (Don't you wish I knew how to
post video?)

We also taught them how to play four square.

After that, we did some serious work on the tree house, adding safety
rails.  I think that Connor was amazed that his Grammy could hammer
in such big nails.
And of course, the day wouldn't be complete until we helped Stacie
make pumpkin bread.

Here's a couple of shots of the kids' booth at the Bridal Fair.
They had some nibbles, and some wedding consultants were
also interested in them.

Football

Just a couple of shots of Timothy - First through the banner.

In this shot, Timothy is in a white jersey and he is covering the ball that
the opposing team fumbled.   Way to go!!!
The Mustangs stand at 3 wins and 2 losses.  And this is without their
first string quarterback, who broke his ankle.
Praise the Lord that there were no injuries in this game.
